Once you have gained access to your VPS and you are on the VPS desktop, you will need to do 2 things: Download your MT4 setup file from your specific broker website or the welcome email download link Download the Simple Trader Receiver EA from your Simple Trader Control Panel You can do this in 2 ways: Simple approach is to use the VPS browser and visit the websites Advance approach is to share your PC 'C' Drive with your VPS and copy the files from your PC to the VPS 'C' Drive Method 1 – Using the VPS browser You need to launch the browser on your VPS For Windows 2008 based VPS Click on Start and select Internet Explorer For Windows 2012 based VPS Internet Explorer is on the taskbar by default, so click the Internet Explorer Logo (Big E) At this stage you need to consider where you Downloaded your MT4 setup file in the past? Was it downloaded via the broker website? Was this an openly accessible page or did you have to login to a secure Client Area to access it? If so, navigate to the specific page on the VPS Browser and save the file to your VPS Documents Folder. Was it downloaded from a link on the welcome email? If so, login to your Webmail account on the VPS Browser and locate the Welcome Email in your Inbox. Click on the download link and save the file to the VPS Documents folder. Method 2 – Copying over the network For this method we assume you have your specific MT4 Setup file and Simpletrader Receiver EA saved on your PC and in a location that you know how to navigate to. You need to make your PC 'C' Drive available in the RDP settings. To do this. Disconnect from your VPS if you are connected. Open Remote Desktop Connection and click Show Options. Click on Local Resources tab and click on More. Ensure that Local Disk C: has a tick (as shown below) and click OK. You should now connect to your VPS again. For Windows 2008 based VPS Click Windows Start and open Computer You should see your 'C' Drive under Other. You can now navigate to any folder on your PC and copy files to paste on the VPS 'C' Drive . For Windows 2012 based VPS Click the Folder icon on the taskbar and click on Computer You should see your 'C' Drive under Other. You can now navigate to any folder on your PC and copy files to paste on the VPS 'C' Drive.
