You can access your ForexVPS through HTML VNC directly from your browser — an alternative to Remote Desktop that requires no additional software. This guide walks you through launching a VNC session and logging in to your ForexVPS desktop.
Before you start: You’ll need your ForexVPS password ready to type manually — VNC sessions don’t support pasting credentials the way RDP does.
What you’ll need
- A ForexVPS account with an active VPS subscription
- Your ForexVPS password from the welcome email
- A modern web browser such as Firefox
Part 1: Launch the VNC session
Step 1: Open My services in your client dashboard
Log in to your client dashboard and select My services.

Step 2: Click Login to your service
Click on Login to your service next to your ForexVPS.

Step 3: Select Launch in VNC
From the drop-down list, select Launch in VNC.

Part 2: Log in through the VNC session
Step 4: Send Ctrl + Alt + Del
Click Ctrl + Alt + Del to bring up the Windows login screen inside the VNC session.

Step 5: Manually type your ForexVPS password
Manually type your ForexVPS password in the password field. Pasting isn’t supported in this method — the password must be typed directly.

Step 6: Submit the password
Click the arrow sign after the password field, or press Enter on your keyboard.

Step 7: Access your ForexVPS desktop
You’ll now see your ForexVPS desktop loaded directly in the browser through the VNC session.

Troubleshooting VNC access issues
Running into problems with your VNC session? Here are fixes for the most common issues.
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Login screen doesn’t appear | Ctrl + Alt + Del not sent correctly | Click the on-screen Ctrl + Alt + Del button again — your keyboard shortcut won’t work inside a browser VNC session. |
| Password paste doesn’t work | VNC sessions don’t support clipboard paste | Type the password manually, character by character. |
| “Launch in VNC” option missing | Option only available on certain plans or regions | Use the standard RDP or browser Getscreen.me login methods instead, or contact ForexVPS support. |
Frequently asked questions about accessing your ForexVPS with VNC
Still have questions about using HTML VNC to access your ForexVPS? Find quick answers below.
Can I paste my password into the VNC login field?
No. HTML VNC sessions require you to manually type your ForexVPS password — clipboard pasting is not supported.
Why do I need to click Ctrl + Alt + Del instead of pressing it on my keyboard?
Browsers intercept the physical Ctrl+Alt+Del keyboard shortcut for security reasons, so VNC sessions provide an on-screen button to send that command to the remote ForexVPS instead.
Is HTML VNC an alternative to Remote Desktop Connection?
Yes. HTML VNC runs entirely in your browser and requires no Remote Desktop client or additional software installation.
What browser works best for HTML VNC?
Any modern browser works, including Firefox and Chrome.
