You can configure your MetaTrader platforms to launch automatically every time your ForexVPS starts up, using the built-in StartupAdder tool. This is especially useful after a scheduled reboot, so your trading platforms come back online without you needing to log in manually.
Before you start: Open at least one MetaTrader platform before running StartupAdder — running it with no MetaTrader open may cause an error.

Frequently asked questions about MetaTrader AutoStart on your VPS
Still have questions about setting up MetaTrader AutoStart? Find quick answers below.
Why do I need to open MetaTrader before running StartupAdder?
StartupAdder registers currently running MetaTrader instances for autostart. If none are open, there’s nothing for it to register, which causes an error.
Can I add multiple MetaTrader instances to AutoStart at once?
Yes. Open all the MetaTrader platforms you want to autostart before running StartupAdder.exe — it registers all currently open instances.
Where is StartupAdder.exe located?
It’s located directly on Local Disk (C:), accessible via File Explorer > This PC > Local Disk (C:).
Why is capital Y not accepted at the confirmation prompt?
The StartupAdder tool specifically checks for lowercase y — using a capital Y may not register as a valid response.
