Common questions
Can I use this to copy trades from another trader or a signal service?
No. Trade Copier is a tool for mirroring your own trades across your own accounts (or to clients you manage). You're always the one placing the original trade on your master account, and the copier just replicates it to your other accounts with lightning speed. It's not a marketplace or social trading product.
What return can I expect from using Trade Copier?
None on its own. Trade Copier doesn't generate trades or signals; it's execution infrastructure that copies whatever you trade on your master account to your other accounts. Your returns depend entirely on your own strategy or EA.
Can I use different brokers on master and slave accounts?
Yes any combination of MT5 brokers. If your brokers use different ticker names (like EURUSD vs EURUSD.r), Trade Copier maps them automatically. You set this up once in the dashboard.
Does it work with my existing Expert Advisors?
Yes. Trade Copier reads trade events from your master terminal it doesn't interfere with your EA or strategy. Everything stays as it is.
Is there a limit on slave accounts?
No software limit. The practical constraint is your server's resources each MT5 terminal needs memory and processing power.
Does it handle partial closes and pending orders?
Yes full trade lifecycle. Opens, closes, partial closes, SL/TP changes, pending orders. Whatever your master does, your slaves follow.
Does it work with MetaTrader 4?
Not currently MT5 only. You can register your interest in MT4 support in the platforms section above.
What if the web dashboard goes down?
Trade copying continues normally. The dashboard is for setup and monitoring the actual copying runs independently on your VPS and doesn't depend on the web interface.
How hard is it to switch from another copier?
Remove your old copier's EA, install Trade Copier EA, assign roles in the dashboard. Your strategies don't change. Most people switch in under 10 minutes.
