Frequently asked questions about Trade Copier

Still have questions about setting up or using Trade Copier? Find quick answers below.

Can I use this to copy trades from another trader or a signal service?

No. Trade Copier is a tool for mirroring your own trades across your own accounts (or to clients you manage). You’re always the one placing the original trade on your main account, and the copier just replicates it to your other accounts with lightning speed. It’s not a marketplace or social trading product.

Does Trade Copier work with MT4?

No, not yet. Trade Copier currently supports MT5 accounts only.

Is Trade Copier free to use?

Yes. Trade Copier is included free with every ForexVPS plan, so there’s no separate license or subscription to buy.

How do I control the position size copied to each sub-account?

When you create a group, choose a risk setting for a particular account (Lot Multiplier, Risk Multiplier, or Fixed Lot), and Trade Copier adjusts the position size on each sub-account automatically (Step 14). You can adjust the risk setting anytime.

What happens when I close a trade on the main account?

It closes automatically on every sub-account in that group, so you don’t need to close each one manually.

What happens when I close a trade on the sub-account?

The trade will close only on this particular sub-account. Actions performed on sub-accounts aren’t copied on the other accounts.

Where can I check my copied trades and account statistics?

Open the Trade Copier menu in your Client Area. “Transaction Logs” shows your open and closed trades, while “Trade Copy Overview” and “Trade Execution Analysis” show detailed statistics for each connected account.
